North Texas Super Seminar

LOCATION: University of North Texas, Denton, TX - Bahnsen Gym (aka The Snake Pit)
FOOTBALL TICKETS: Each Super Seminar student-athlete attendee will be provided up to three FREE tickets to attend the North Texas Mean Green football game vs Florida Atlantic University at 6:00pm at Apogee Stadium.
[In accordance with NCAA Bylaws, complimentary admissions are for the exclusive use of a prospect and those persons accompanying the prospect on the visit.]
SEMINAR: A college eligibility and recruiting Super Seminar for middle school and high school athletes and their parents. The North Texas Super Seminar is hosted by the University of North Texas and presented in partnership with the National Football League Players Association and the Texas High School Coaches Association. The event is free of charge, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.
The two-hour Super Seminar presentation will cover a full range of recruiting education topics, including:
- Three Rules of Being a Parent
- Scholarship Myths and Facts
- NAIA and JUCO education
- Scholarships, do they differ?
- The Name Game
- Negotiate/Cooperative Education
- Dangers of Social Networking/Cell Phones
- Saving for College
- National Letter of Intent
- NCAA and NAIA Eligibility Centers
- Recruiting Services
- NCAA Core Course Requirements

Parking: Attendees may park in the ORANGE lot near Fouts Field for $10. This lot is a short walk to Bahnsen Gym and provides a pedestrian bridge to walk to Apogee Stadium.
